If circumstances or policies in your organization change and you can no longer attend MENA ISC, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to VirtuPort at the contact information stated above.
Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Individuals are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations.
You can make a substitution at any time. Please see the Substitution Policy below for details.
Substitutions, including those made on-site, are allowed with the written permission of the original registrant. Requests for substitutions will only be accepted by email to email@example.com. The substituted individual must be from the same organization as the cancelled registrant. A maximum of one (1) substitution per original registrant is allowed.
VISA REQUIREMENTS / INVITATION LETTER
It is your sole responsibility to take care of visa requirements. If you require an entry visa, you must allow sufficient time for the visa application procedure. Your registration details might be shared with the immigration authorities to assist in the immigration process. However, MENA ISC will not contact embassies and consulates on your behalf.
To receive an invitation letter for MENA ISC, you must first register and be accepted or referred by a Sponsor. You will have the option to request an invitation letter after the registration process. Also note that invitation letters are only issued to invited Conference attendees and exhibitors.
All attendees must be at least 18 years of age to attend MENA ISC, and all related events, including all Hackathon events. Requests for any exception to this term must be submitted to VirtuPort in writing. Whether or not the exception is granted, is in the sole discretion of VirtuPort.
There is no fee for MENA ISC registration passes, however, this is an invite only event. Invitations can only be granted by VirtuPort or its authorized sponsors.
A government or company issued photo id is required to collect MENA ISC credentials/badges.
MENA ISC-issued credentials are the sole property of the VirtuPort and must be surrendered upon demand to MENA ISC and/or VirtuPort representatives. MENA ISC-issued credentials must be prominently displayed while at the MENA ISC or designated off-site activities. False certification of an individual as an exhibitor’s representative, misuse of an exhibitor’s badge, or any other method or device used to assist unauthorized personnel to gain admittance to the exhibit floor, will be just cause for expelling the exhibitor and his representative(s) from the exhibit floor and/or banning them from future entrance into the Expo. This would also warrant the removal of the exhibitor’s booth from the floor without obligation on the part of VirtuPort for refund of any fees. The exhibitor, his/her employees and agents, and anyone claiming to be in the hall through the exhibitor, waives any rights or claims for damages arising out of the enforcement of this rule.
By accepting an invitation to attend MENA ISC you are opting-in to receiving communications from VirtuPort and any of its authorized Sponsors. You will be subject to the communications and privacy policies of the exhibitors and/or sponsors and must opt-out with them directly.
PHOTOGRAPHY, AUDIO AND VIDEO RECORDING
MENA ISC is held in a public space, therefore VirtuPort does not prohibit participants, exhibitors, sponsors, news organizations or other companies from photographing or video or audiotaping some MENA ISC activities. MENA ISC reserves the right to use images taken at the MENA ISC with your photograph and/or likeness in future marketing materials.
SOLICITING IN THE EXPOSITION
Suit casing or outboarding is prohibited at MENA ISC. VirtuPort reserves the right to escort any individual from MENA ISC who is reported to be soliciting in the Exposition and who is not a MENA ISC sponsor or exhibitor. VirtuPort encourages attendees to support the paid sponsors and exhibitors who, in turn, are supporting the industry. VirtuPort also encourages you not to listen to a sales pitch from a non-sponsor or exhibitor.
The use of Drones/Unmanned Aircrafts (“UAV”) is strictly prohibited at all times throughout the entire Venue and the adjacent areas outside of the Venue. UAV’s are devices that are used or intended to be used for flight in the air with no onboard pilot (either controlled manually or through an autopilot using a data link to connect the pilot to the UAV).
In its sole discretion, VirtuPort reserves the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the MENA ISC anyone that it determines is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the MENA ISC or any other attendee.
